Scarlett Osborn
Scarlett Osborn is a senior at the Episcopal School of Acadiana. Growing up in Cape Town, South Africa, she has always had a strong commitment to social and environmental justice. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Louisiana Legislative Youth Advisory Council, and worked alongside Senator Milligan to bring the 2023 School Safety Act into law to help prevent gun violence in Louisiana schools. She is a Future Coastal Leader at the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana which addresses the environmental challenges facing Louisiana’s coastal ecosystem. She completed a course in Psychology and Neuroscience with the National Student Leadership Council at the University of California at Berkeley, designing a program for teen mental health awareness using music playlists. Scarlett is a member of the National Honor Society, the Math Honor Society, and the Louisiana High School Athletic Association’s Composite All-Academic Honors Girls Swim Team.
